A Call For Support

FROM THE ACTING DIRECTOR

A call for support from the acting director Sherrie Tinoco

The pandemic had a definite impact on our work. Aside from the challenges that everyone
faced in how to best ensure safety, our programs also learned how to implement new avenues of access for people dealing with domestic violence and crime. Even though our in-person model has since been brought back, we are still maintaining the virtual options that we used over the past couple of years. People can now engage with our services via text, direct message, email, and virtually. These changes have created more choices for people in how to connect with our advocates. This July, our agency faces additional cuts to federal funding that put our mission at risk. Our fundraising efforts are more critical than ever before. We are so grateful for the support of our community. Every donation helps to make free and confidential support for victims of domestic violence and crime possible.
