Sexual Assault - Help is Available

Sexual assault is ANY form of sexual contact without consent or permission. People do not ask for, cause, invite, or deserve to be sexually assaulted. Sexual assault is a choice made by the offender and does not happen by accident. The victim/survivor is never responsible for the assault.  A victim can be an adult or a child, male or female.

Our advocates are available to talk to you if the abuse happened today or many years ago or whether the abuse happened to you or to someone you care about. If something like this has happened to you.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

Things you can do to increase your personal safety:

Be aware of your surroundings at all times

Trust your intuition. Get away from someone who makes you feel uncomfortable.

Remember that there is safety

in numbers.

Do not leave your beverage unattended or accept a drink from an open container.
