We also provide services to families and friends of victims and survivors, helping them address their own reactions to victimization, so they can effectively support the victim.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ADVOCACY & SUPPORT

We offer 24-hour crisis intervention to provide personal, non-judgmental support to female, male, and non-binary victims of domestic violence, Advocacy services include assistance with personalized safety planning, information about the affects of victimization, information about options, and advocacy based assistance with decision making. Advocates are able to provide support during court proceedings as well as during law enforcement interviews if the client wishes.

SAFE TEMPORARY HOUSING

We provide safe temporary shelter for female victims of domestic violence and their children.
 

  • We have 16 private rooms, cribs and 3 pet rooms available at our shelter.

 

  • The allowable stay is 60 days with extensions available in extenuating circumstances. 

 

  • During their stay at the Shelter, residents can utilize the services of all programs offered by ESS for free.
